1Introduction
FortiVox is committed to transparent data handling. We only set non-essential cookies after you give explicit consent through the banner that appears on your first visit, and you can revisit that choice any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how account data, security telemetry and other personal information are handled across the platform.
2What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by the websites you visit. They are widely used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and provide aggregated usage statistics to site owners.
We also use comparable technologies such as localStorage entries where they serve the same purpose. Throughout this policy, the term "cookies" covers both.
3Categories of Cookies
Essential Cookies
Required for the site to function: keeping you signed in, protecting forms against CSRF, remembering your selected language, and powering core security features. Essential cookies cannot be turned off because the platform would not work without them.
Analytics Cookies
Used to measure how visitors discover and use FortiVox so we can improve the product. These cookies are set by Google Analytics 4 (and, where enabled, Google Ads conversion tracking). We do not load Google Analytics at all until you grant consent.
Preference Cookies
Remember non-essential UI choices such as banner dismissals, dashboard layout hints, and language preference on subsequent visits.
5Google Analytics & Consent
Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js) is not loaded on your first visit. The tracking script is fetched and executed only after you grant consent to the "Analytics" category — either by clicking "Accept All" or by enabling the toggle in the preferences modal.
When you reject non-essential cookies, no requests are sent to googletagmanager.com or google-analytics.com from your browser. IP anonymization is enabled on our Google Analytics property regardless of consent.
Google may also use cookies independently of FortiVox on its own properties. For details, see the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
6Managing Your Consent
You can change your choice at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the site footer (or use the button below). Your preferences are stored in the fv_cookie_consent cookie for six months; after that period — or if you clear cookies — the banner will reappear.
7Controlling Cookies in Your Browser
Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies through its privacy settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to FortiVox or using features that depend on a session.
8Retention Periods
Cookie lifetimes are shown in the table above. Server-side records associated with your session (sign-in, audit logs, security events) are retained according to the schedule described in our Privacy Policy.
9Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove integrations, change retention periods, or to reflect changes in applicable law. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the latest revision. Material changes that affect previously granted consent will trigger the banner again so you can re-confirm.
10Contact
Questions about cookies or consent can be sent through the channels listed in our Privacy Policy, or by email to the support address shown in the site footer.
